Our first ever NSIST Christmas Card depicts the story of Bob the Dog. Bob was the mascot at the old Admiralty interception site at Sandybed Lane in Scarborough. He had been adopted by staff at the site. When the town was attacked by the German Imperial Navy on 16 December 1914, Bob was terrified and ran off. He was later found and the staff at the site jokingly awarded him the German Iron Cross for bravery under fire! These unique Christmas Cards are being sold to raise money for NSIST.
