General Discussion

I have attached a photograph of the officers of the RSS, drawn from within the ranks of Military Intelligence and Royal Signals. Each RSS region of which their were nine had an officer in charge and Northern Ireland's officer was Captain Joe Banham. Back row, first on the right. I made contact with Major Banham's son and we shared a great deal of wartime information which his father had passed on, (priceless). I was shown a silver plated cigarette box which Captain Banham received from the WO, NCO's and men of RSS Station Gilnahirk at the end of the war.
