RN Communications Branch Museum Website

I have recently come across the RN Communications Branch Museum website (here) which contains a large amount of online archive information. A couple of items which may be of interest to NSIST are Voluntary Interceptors and Radio Warfare. Hi Adrian. Having now read Ken Sutton's account of the VI's I would like to share one example of their amazing contribution. TP Allen VI NI/24. He was one of a group given a special watch (Code Name 2/355). At 19:30 26/01/1942 TP begins his GS for 2/355. He is then lured into coping and LPR (Code for another transmission). Reason: He did not give his Call Sign until later. Moving on to sheet two of a five sheet log we note (No Preamble). TP as a VI was as sharp as a razor and missed nothing. One final point, many of our local NI VI's remained active through the 1950's into the early 1960's.
